Every 26 October, Rotarians worldwide mark World Polio Day to renew the commitment to a polio-free world. RCAM will observe the day with a public awareness rally in central Abuja followed by a wheelchair distribution to beneficiaries identified through our community health partners.
Since Nigeria was certified wild-polio free in 2020, our focus has broadened to routine immunisation advocacy and rehabilitation support for survivors of the disease. Wheelchairs will be provided to twelve beneficiaries at this year’s event.
